Coronavirus Chronicles Day #9
Woke up to a to a rest day!!
Adam went into Disney Plus and found Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and then Gummy Bears to show the kids. Yes…we are getting desperate!!! Bringing 1985 back!!
Tackled laundry!! There was no time last week to do anything other that wash and pile up in baskets so today I started folding. Caught up on my favorite show Outlander, if you haven’t read the book or watched the show I recommend it! But I digress, I have a theory about the laundry. With less sports I have a gut feeling there will be less laundry. Or maybe it’s wishful thinking I’ll let you know.
It was such a lazy day. I took a nap and yes folks it was glorious! 1/2 the Smiths took naps today so I didn’t feel so bad.
There is a random black dog roaming around our house right now. Quavo doesn’t like this not one bit. For those who don’t know this, we took a DNA test on Quavo since he is a rescue from the Dubois County Humane Society and frankly we were just curious. Sooo Quavo is 25% Treeing Walker Coonhound, 25% Neapolitan Mastiff, 25% Golden Retriever and 25% other. So imagine a baying hound barking as loud as he can while trying to throw his Mastiff body through the glass. Super fun times!! Now I’m not saying Quavo graduated from Harvard because let’s be honest we have had the same outside cat since we moved into our house. Frankly we bought a house and the cat came with it. Quavo will go outside and rub up on the cat and snuggle her and then go inside and 5 min later bark at her like she is stealing the silverware. I love him but I’m not sure he is going to be a Rocket Scientist but I digress, if you’re missing a black dog with a blue collar let me know….
Watched Frozen 2.
Adam made Chicken Curry and rice. Owen believes he made it with Ghost Peppers, we may have gone through a gallon of milk. Feel free to leave milk on our driveway since I can only buy 1-2 gallons a purchase and my kids go through 5-6 a week!! Owen is still breathing fire…
Played Bingo for money, it was 10 cents a game to buy in and I wiped the floor with them!! Oh wait, I’m not supposed to be competitive like that with my own children…um…I won? Nope, I can’t do it I have to be honest!! I was big rolling and walked with $1.70!! Take that!! Side note, after this is all done Adam has a promising future at the Bingo Hall.
Had Ice Cream to celebrate Spring Break.
Corbin got a FaceTime call by his teacher! 
Boys showered and are currently switching between WWE from 2014 and the 2019 Death Diving Championship…they are rooting for the 13 year old kid!! This is what happens when there are no live sports. They are about to watch the dodge juggle championship on ESPN the Ocho, I’m not joking!! They have to juggle while playing dodgeball. It’s totally a thing…
So in summary the kids are alright, Adam and I are alright, and the dog is living his best life.
