Coronavirus Chronicles Day #10

Today was the beginning of spring break no elearning today. Woke up, enjoyed a cup of coffee and snuggled with the kids. Adam headed to work upstairs.

The kids played a lot of legos, bounced on the trampoline and generally just played outside.

We saw the black dog again and it still will not come to me. Corbin has decided if it’s a boy he wants to call it Max and if it’s a girl Emily…Quavo is suspect and has declared we are not getting another dog!!

Received 4 packages today. Adam opened the boxes and I wiped the contents down. What a weird world we are currently living in. I worry that things will never be as they were before this.

Found Dawson outside pulling weeds out of the concrete cracks…he LOVES yard work! He motivated me enough to start weeding too.

When Adam was done for the day he decided to mow. Everything is starting to turn so green it’s beautiful! Younger 3 boys got tractor rides.

Noah has been offline for 24 hours so he is back on video games reconnecting with friends.

Younger 3 are currently watching America’s Funniest Home Videos and giggling.

It was a simple day today and in reality it’s what I needed. I know we have been at home but it feels like the world is changing all around us and frankly it frightens me. Will we shake our neighbors hands again, or hug a friend we haven’t seen in awhile? I hope these things will not get lost in the future because I’m not sure the latter is a world we want. Thinking about it all makes my heart heavy and I worry. Please know that so many of you have been in my thoughts and prayers. May we all come out of this safe. Sorry for the heavy thoughts but today they lingered and even the sun couldn’t shake them.

But even with all of that the kids are alright, Adam and I are still alright and the dog is living his best life as long as Max/Emily stays out of his yard…
