Coronavirus Chronicles Day #11

Oh Spring Break how I do love you. I would so rather be at a beach somewhere but we’re totally rocking this social distancing thing. Today while it rained I felt more at peace.

Got up grabbed a cup of coffee, Adam headed up to the office. I then did a 20 min strength ride on Echelon. Was planning on doing a 20 min core video but only made it 10 min before I had to referee. It’s okay, I just sent them to their corners and told them no blows below the beIt or eye gouging. I know, I know, you too wish you could be the mother of 4 boys. Okay back to topic…just working out makes me feel more normal. I so miss my workout friends at FitFuel, and a good workout from Ashley Downes, frankly I’d even do any torture Missy could come up with right now. (I draw the line at paper plates though!! They’re the devil!!!) More than anything I miss the community and the laughs, it’s a special place. And last I checked no one has to be told not to eye gouge…

Learned about a really cool Planet Adventure on March 28th done by Ali Bramson PhD from Purdue University, thank you Roxanne for the heads up! Take a look I think if covers all elementary grades!

Boys spent some time on the trampoline until it started raining. I’m pretty sure Corbin would have stayed out all afternoon!!

Finally took a picture of Adam’s E-learning space.

Watched Coco with the boys, such a cute movie and I highly recommend it!!

Dawson had a meltdown it started with a video game that he wanted to play that ended up needing a download. It resulted in him falling asleep in my bed with Quavo for 2:30 hours…

Had one of my best friends check in with me to make sure we were both still sane. Love you Miss Vicki, I would much rather be on a beach with you somewhere but we can do this!! Probably going to need to FaceTime and have a glass of wine soon!!

The bookends are now downstairs playing fortnite and the middles are watching Rush Hour 2 with Adam. Oh what has changed since 2001!! Chris Tucker just said “Do you understand the words coming out of my mouth?” Corbin turned to Adam and said that’s where that comes from?!?! My husband lives to drop movie quotes!

No sight of the black dog but we are still keeping an eye out for Max/Emily.

In summary today was just what we needed, the kids are alright, Adam and I are alright, and the dog is still living his best life!
