Coronavirus Chronicles Day #27
Okay, I’m going to start with last night. Huge storm came through. Adam and I went outside on the front porch to watch the lightning. It was so amazing that I went and got Noah to have him see it. I called it Science class. We stood on the porch listening to it roll in. Never in my life have I heard the wind before it arrived. And when it arrived it was crazy!! Went inside to check and see if our trampoline was still in the back yard…check still there…but our 3 seat outdoor couch was now across the patio in the grass, along with the coffee table and 2 swivel chairs!! Adam ran outside to start collecting furniture in the lightning and rain. I shortly followed. I’d like to think I helped him but in reality I’m pretty sure I heard clown music as the two of us tried to collect everything and get it protected by the house. Such a crazy storm!!
Woke up this morning, had coffee, read the news and got ready to go. It’s the last day of E-learning today. Kids got to see Father Gary read a book on Facebook. Noah was excited that he was the first one done today. Corbin did an Easter egg hunt and word puzzle his teacher created. Owen got a letter in the mail from his teacher today. Dawson was excited to create words out of cereal today because it means he gets to eat them. Not a bad day at all.

I took a break today and caught myself on Pinterest. I can quickly go down a rabbit hole if I get on it too often and today I found myself looking at house plans I’m never going to build. I kept asking myself as I looked at them…”would you want to be Quarantined here?” Adds a new dimension to the whole thing.

Yesterday was low 80’s today 50’s it’s Indiana what can I say. Kids wanted a slow day and we decided to watch the movie Home. I found a lot of humor in the scene where the alien is locked in the convenience store fridge and kept asking “can I come into the out now?” I hear you little purple alien I feel it too!!

Kids went outside to play. I surveyed damage. Mostly just blown mulch since we rescued the furniture.
Adam shut it down for the night and we did a family movie night. Watched Jumanjii 2. Not a bad movie and kids sure chuckled. Sent the kids to bed and Adam and I stayed up to watch 1917…holy cow! That is one intense movie, amazing but intense!! I might not sleep for awhile tonight!!

Anyway the kids are alright, Adam and I are alright and the dog is living his best life!
