Coronavirus Chronicles Day #29

Started the day listening to the dog bang into our door wanting to get into our room to snuggle. He’s so spoiled. Later caught the dog barking repeatedly at the kitchen island finally realized what was going on and got it on video. Never a dull moment here folks!!

Adam and I had a relaxed Saturday morning with the kids hanging out downstairs. Decided we were going to pull out the croquet set and teach the boys how to play. Adam did a quick tutorial and off we went. Kids quickly learned there is actual strategy involved and got into the game. Adam won and jokingly celebrated like he had scored a soccer goal in the English Premier league. I came in next and celebrated by swinging my pullover over my head like Brandy Chastain. (Except I kept my shirt on) So when Noah came in third he tried to pull his sweatshirt and shirt off to run and proceeded to trip and fall down. Owen came in next ripped his shirt off and took off celebrating. Dawson then came in 5th by one shot. You would have thought Dawson won the Super Bowl!!

Let Corbin help me make lunch just the two of us since he wasn’t thrilled he came in last. He just wanted a little one on one time.

We decided that since it was the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission we were going to watch the movie. Kids were totally enthralled and Dawson started clapping when they landed safely!

Had dinner and did a family video meeting. Pretty sure after this is all over SNL’s first skit will be a re-enactment of all of these video conferences and our technical difficulties!

Anyway the kids are alright, Adam and I are alright and the dog is living his best life.
