Coronavirus Chronicles Day #32

Okay I can’t believe we are at day #32!! I mean when I started writing this I thought 2 weeks I’ll journal this and then we’d be back to our normal groove…I love my family and all….but

Woke up, got coffee, and then got ready. Now I’ve been living in leggings for 32 days now. Friendly PSA ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t done a jeans check yet you might want too!! Mine still fit the other day when I put them on but not without a lot of hopping and cussing…

Started e-learning. Internet was spotty at first but we finally got all done around 12.

A friend gave me a heads up that there were some Walmart pick up slots open last week so this girl got herself a spot!! Adam needed to stop at the office so I decided to ride along there and then we were going to grab our groceries. I stayed in the car at both places but Adam and I got alone time. So I’m calling it a date!!

Owen had a FaceTime call with a friend. I was putting away groceries and all of a sudden I heard a male voice talking to Owen instead of his buddy Patrick. I actually froze for a second and then I ran over thinking it was some weird phone hacking by some delusional psychotic man. I grabbed the phone from Owen and I’m not sure who was more surprised me or my brother!! Apparently Owen accidentally hung up on his friend and when he tried to fix it he FaceTimed my brother!! Of course Ethan thought it was hysterical.

All morning I stared at the bananas that were going bad…So either my kids aren’t eating bananas in hopes of getting muffins or I’m over buying. In the last three weeks I’ve gone from 1 dozen, to 2 dozen and now 3 dozen muffins I’ve made. Seriously, I think one kid ate one banana this week. Since the muffins came out of the oven the kids have eaten a 1/2 dozen. I reduced my banana order this week, watch them complain about no muffins…

Noah did a live GenZ ride. He did great and finished 12th out of 77. He asked me to carry him up the stairs. I denied the request…Corbin did a GenZ ride right after him. While Corbin was riding Dawson begged me to work out with him. He said he doesn’t have any muscles and needs them. So I did some stretch band work with him, medicine ball work, and abs. Adam came down to check on us and had both Dawson and Owen do push ups and pull ups. Corbin finishes his ride, he is bright pink, covered in sweat and is trying to catch his breath. Dawson looks at him and tells him the “he” as in Dawson needs to shower first because HE worked out…Corbin gave him the side eye…

Adam mowed the yard tonight and won the find the yeti cup lid game…it was still on the mower….oh and 1 Easter egg was found by Corbin and 2 by Adam while mowing. Still missing 1.

Had dinner and heard a very interesting conversation tonight… Dawson told Owen and Corbin to knock it off or he was going to nip nip them. Corbin and Owen immediately start laughing. Which causes Adam to ask what a nip nip is. Dawson quickly replies that’s where I fart at them and then punch em! Don’t ask him what a Fart Tart is…you’ve been warned.

Noah is getting so bored that tonight he took Adam’s old guitar upstairs to tune it. I can hear it strumming as I type and I’m actually really happy to hear him doing it. Corbin and Owen are silent downstairs and I’m starting to wonder if Dawson nip nipped them?….

Anyway the kids are alright, Adam and I are alright and the dog is living his best life.
